How I look after my hair {My Hair Routine}

By accident I watched a video on YouTube, where a girl was explaining how she washes her hair. She said that she washes her hair without shampoo for 2 years now and she's happy with it. She also explained how she washes it and what she uses. After watching this video I wanted to try it out. I read more blogposts and watched more videos about the "No-Poo" method. (The name isn't the best but it comes from "no shampoo")

I decided to started washing my hair with shampoo and apple cider vinegar. First I wash it with my normal shampoo from Garnier and then I wash it again with apple cider vinegar. I mix 1.5 teapots of vinegar with 750 ml of water.
At first I was sceptical but after blow drying it, my hair felt so much better. I normally have natural curls and the last weeks the weren't really beautiful. But after conditioning my hair with vinegar they were beautiful. I never felt so happy as I felt after washing my hair with this method.

My hair after I washed it (evening).

My hair the day after I washed it.

After washing it that way several times I decided to try out washing it with baking soda. So I replaced the shampoo with the baking soda. I mixed it the same way as I always mix the vinegar, 1.5 teaspoons of baking soda and 750 ml water.

I was surprised how good it worked out. After washing my hair with baking soda I was afraid because it didn't feel well. But after blow drying it, it felt and looked really healthy. The fact that I can wear my hair open also the second day makes me so happy. Normally I have to put it into a ponytail the second and third day.
I won't stop washing my hair this way. I decided to wash it every third day with shampoo and vinegar and once a month I'll replace the shampoo with baking soda.

DIY: Coloring Easter Eggs

Today I wanna show you how you can colour your own Easter eggs. Most people buy them, also if it's really easy to colour them. You don't need a lot and you don't have to spend a lot of money. We dye our eggs always by ourselves and every one looks different at the end.
So I hope you enjoy my first DIY and hopefully it helps you. If you try it out, I would love to see your eggs. Make a picture, put it on instagram or twitter and tag me :) (Twitter: @littledaydreame Instagram: @thelittledxydreamer)

You need:
  • Hard-boiled eggs
  • egg dyes
  • flowers
  • onionskin (cutted in little pieces)
  • vinegar
  • water
  • stocking
  • thread
  • a scissor and a spoon

Step 1:
Take your eggs and make them wet. Now you can put on what you want. Flowers, onionskin...

Step 2:
Wrap it into a piece of stocking and put a piece of thread over it, so nothing can get out.

Step 3:
For the next step you have to follow the instructions of your egg dyes. I had to put 1/4 liter boiled water into a container. Then I put 3 tablespoons and the colour into the water.

Step 4:
Put the eggs into the colour and wait. I waited for 10 to 15 minutes. The instructions said 'wait 7 minutes' but you can leave it in longer for a darker hue.

Step 5:
Put the eggs out and wait a little bit. Then remove the stocking and all the flowers. Act carefully! You can remove the flowers also when the colour dried.

You can also try to mix the colours. I haven't done it before but the eggs turned out very beautiful.

{Book} The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

After hearing so much about this book I had to read it. My sister already read it and she loved it. I decided to read the book also because I saw the trailer of the movie and I wanted to read the book before I see it.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

“What a slut time is. She screws everybody.”
― John Green, The Fault in Our Stars
“The world is not a wish-granting factory.”

About the book:

The Fault in Our Stars debuted at #1 on The New York Times Best Seller list for Children's Chapter Books. It was #1 on the Wall Street Journal bestseller list, #1 on the Indiebound bestseller list, and #9 on The Bookseller bestseller list. The Fault in Our Stars has received highly positive reviews from critics.

“Funny . . . Poignant . . . Luminous.”
—Entertainment Weekly

“This is a book that breaks your heart—not by wearing it down, but by making it bigger until it bursts.”
The Atlantic

“A novel of life and death and the people caught in between, The Fault in Our Stars is John Green at his best. You laugh, you cry, and then you come back for more.”
Markus Zusak, bestselling and Printz Honor–winning author of The Book Thief

The movie:
The Fault in Our Stars is a romantic comedy-drama film directed by Josh Boone. The film stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort. It is scheduled to be released in The Netherlands and Australia on June 5, 2014, and June 6, 2014 in the United States. Filming took place in Pittsburgh and Amsterdam.

I really loved the book and I can't wait to see the film. If you haven't already read the book then what are you waiting for? I have never cryed as much as I cryed when I read this book. Also if you don't like it at the beginning you should read the whole book. The end is so sad. It doesn't matter how old you are. The book shows us how a person feels who has cancer and it's not like any other book. It's special and I think everybody should read it.

Sing by Ed Sheeran

Today I wanna write about one of my new favourit songs. It's Sing by Ed Sheeran. If you don't know him than where have you been the last years. I love his music and this song is something special. It's a litte different from his other songs but it's still his style.

Ed's new album will be out on the 23th June and it's going to be called 'x'.
Check the song out on iTunes!

It’s late in the evening
Glass on the side I’ve
Been sat with you
For most of the night
Ignoring everybody here
We wish they would disappear
So maybe we could get down now
And I don’t wanna know
If you’re getting ahead of the program
I want you to be mine, lady
To hold your body close
Take another step into the no-man’s land
For the longest time lady

I need you darling, come on set the tone
If you feel you’re falling, won’t you let me know
If you love me come on get involved
Feel it rushing through you from your head to toe

This love is a blaze
I saw flames from the side of the stage
And the firebrigade comes in a couple of days
Until then we got nothing to say and nothing to know
But something to drink and maybe something to smoke
Let it go until I wrote a change singing we found love in a local rave
I don’t really know what I’m supposed to say
But I can just figure it out and hope and pray
I told them my name and said it’s nice to meet yaAnd then she handed me of a bottle of water filled with tequila
I already know she’s a keeper
Just from this one small act of kindness, I’m in deep
If anybody finds out I’m meant to drive home
But I drunk all of it now, no
Sobering up
We just sit on the couch one thing led to another
Now she’s kissing my mouth

I need you darling, Come on set the tone
If you feel you’re falling, Won’t you let me know
If you love me come on get involved
Feel it rushing through you from your head to toe

Can you feel it?
All the guys in here don’t even wanna dance
Can you feel it?
All that I can hear is music from the band
Can you feel it?
Found you hiding here so hoped you take my hand
Before the beat kicks in again
Can you feel it?
Can you feel it?

I need you darling
Come on set the tone
If you feel you’re falling
Won’t you let me know
If you love me come on get involved
Feel it rushing through you from your head to toe

{Review} Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector

For a long time now I'm using the Garnier BB Cream for oily skin and I decided to write a review about it.
At first you should know that I have the light/medium shade. It depends where you buy it. They may also have it for dark, medium and light skin.
The shade matches perfectly with my skin and it covers up everything. I'm always using concealer but I don't use a lot. You can already cover up a lot only with the BB cream.

Garnier promises 5 solutions:
  • Anti-shine
  • Blurs pores and imperfections
  • Evens tone and boosts glow
  • Moisturises
  • SPF 20 UV protection
And it definitely holds these promises. The finish is amazing. My skin looks so much better and not so tired. It looks fresh. The feeling is great too. It doesn't feel heavy at all.

The BB cream blends in very well. I'm using a brush but also if you use your fingers, the result will be great. The shade also matches up with your skin tone. You should definitely try it out before you buy it.

If you haven't tried it already you should. It's perfect for everybody who wants coverage but a natural look.
If you have already tried it, what's your impression?
